Time Together (Uta x Fem!Ghoul!Reader) oneshot

Working at the Hysy ArtMask Studio with Uta, as his assistant, meant that we were always together. Now, I know you might be wondering, "Assistant?". Well basically, what I do is make the stores promotion posters and 3D models of the masks so Uta can get an idea of how they'll look when their finished.

       Today was like any other day working with Uta. I'd sit in the back and work on the computer while he'd attend the few customers who came in. When there was no one in the store he'd come check up on me. He'd sit there on the desk and watch me work and we'd idly chat for a bit, maybe have an eyeball snack if we were feeling a bit hungry. We generally talked about what's been up recently along with the occasional flirting and such. Right now we were talking about how Kaneki came in to get a mask measurement a couple of days ago.

       "So what did you think about him?" I asked as I turned to face him a bit after saving my progress on the 3D model.
       
       He seemed to think about it for a second then said, "He's interesting, I haven't met many half ghouls. It would have been fun if he stayed over though,"

        I laughed a bit at that,  "He seems kinda chicken to me..."I turned silent when I thought about Kaneki's situation, "I can see why though, I couldn't imagine becoming a ghoul being easy to get used to."

       He simply nodded and tilted his head to gaze at the ceiling. We did this often, Just enjoying each other's presence. It was nice like this.

       Just then the bell above the store's door rang and Uta stood to his feet. He put his hand on my shoulder and kissed my forehead quickly before walking out to the front of the store to greet the customer. I smiled and shook my head lightly as I turned back to the computer. Even though we never had time to say much, I liked spending time together.
